| Naze Nani Special Order? - a special order is what you place when you can't find some book or CD that you simply must have at any retail shop. You contact a company and they'll get it for you direct from the publisher, and it's often an inexpensive option. You can order domestic products this way too, but your bookstore in the mall isn't going to be able to order an obscure manga for you. What a shame, huh. ^_^
Special Ordering Books - When ordering a Japanese book it's best to have the ISBN number. But if it's not available, the next best is the title and the name of the publisher. If you're lucky enough to live near a Japanese bookstore, just take this information there. Otherwise you must find a dealer that accepts special orders via internet, requiring shipping costs. Special ordering books can take 1-3 months. Pricing is based on the Yen rates at the time the order arrives.
Special Ordering CDs - They're easier for dealers to obtain than books and they can
be looked up by title. (That doesn't mean the person doing the ordering wouldn't appreciate the producer name and ordering number.) CDs usually arrive within a month (depending on who you order from). Pricing is based on the yen rates at the time the order arrives.
English Guidebooks - Lunar: The Silver Star and Lunar: Eternal Blue books can be ordered through Sandwich Islands and Amazon.
Games - Domestic Lunar games are sold by Working Designs among many others, imports at National Console Support among many others.
