Tenyo no Inori Akaku Haete
Tenyo's Prayer is Shining Red

Road trip songs are always a pain unless you're joining in yourself, and this is no exception. The Uzaki family, plus Ririka and Shou and the patient trio are going on an outing to Mt Tenpo. Since the Moriya parents aren't coming, Ririka is acting like Shou's mother; Nishtokorozawa-san says she can act very mature when she needs to. Old Inchou-san is acting just like Shou, though. Seiya asks if it's a good idea for inpatients to go out like this; Inchou-san gets a little defensive when answering that fresh air helps patients heal. (We think he's just making excuses; after all, having been in the hospital 42 (or was 43?) years, where are you going to go?) Seiya's mom points out Mt. Tenpo and Ririka sticks her head out the window like a puppy. ^_^

In a particularly (and ironically) verdant area of Dark Joker HQ, Dewey is fast asleep when Buros summons. Dewey is in full control of his new power and is confident that he can kill Nurse Angel. Buros has no reservations about sending him out, but once Dewey leaves, he expresses a hope that Dewey will keep his powers under control long enough to finish Nurse Angel off. No wonder he's been so nice (a little too nice) to Dewey lately.

Gureto-san is having trouble with a fragile rope bridge over a ravine, and makes the tragic mistake: when told not to look down, he immediately does. Inchou-san scolds him, and everyone giggles. But not too loud; they probably don't want to hurt his feelings. Further along, the group pauses at a scenic overlook; Gureto-san pouts when Inchou-san tells him to leave poetry to the poets (Nishitokorozawa-san). Shou's ready for lunch, and Inchou-san suggests Ikusabutai, the Stage of War (kakkoii!). Inchou-san gets on the topic of Tenyo when Shou asks who that is. Inchou-san, wondering what they teach kindergartners these days, explains that she was a beautiful woman from heaven that defended nature from the Oni. Seiya thinks of Nurse Angel and blushes. Ririka notices, embarrassing him.

Shou: "Tenyo Kick!!"
Seiya: "Special Tenyo Punch!!"
Gureto-san: "Never Fail Oni Buster!!"
Uzaki-sensei: "Doctor Stop!"
Methinks they've all been reading too many manga... but is that really possible??

Nishitokorozawa-san gives Ririka a red maple leaf, a little symbol of nature's power. It's amazing how many very different people Ririka can relate to. Up on the top of Mt. Tenpo there is a massive tree, called the Tree of Tenyo. Inchou-san describes the battle between Tenyo-sama and the Oni; the Oni's power was so great, everything it touched died. It cut Tenyo's tree clean off at the base, but Tenyo made it grow again. The rest of the story is cut off because Seiya's mom calls for lunch, and everyone leaves.

Suddenly it starts to rain; Seiya complains because the forecast said it would be clear. Inchou-san suspects the Oni is the cause of the storm. Throngs of people are walking down from Ikusabutai, and Ririka slips on the muddy trail. The Angel Heart Card falls from her pocket and it reacts stronger than ever before. Elsewhere on Mt. Tenpo, Dewey is the source of the storm, preparing for a "private party" with Nurse Angel.

Shou is frozen with fear on the rope bridge; Uzaki-sensei asks Seiya to help him across. Ririka is the only person left on the other side of the bridge when she hears Dewey call, asking how she likes the preparations. He assures her that she's the only one he invited, and punctuates it with a bolt of black lightening that severs the rope bridge just as Seiya makes it to the other side. Seiya instantly suspects Dark Joker.

He's awful nice for having come to kill her.

Ririka runs off to the designated battleground, Ikusabutai. Just as she is about to slip down the steep path, Dewey catches her hand (Kawaii!). Ririka wrenches free and falls in the mud. Ririka is angered by his sarcastic remarks, but then notices that all the nature in the area is dead. Dewey says he spruced the place up a bit, and kills the Tree of Tenyo. Ririka transforms and things get underway. Nurse Angel has trouble dealing with Dewey; he shrugs off everything she throws at him. Dewey snaps the trunk of Tenyo's tree as if it were made of glass.

Overpowering...
Seiya is back at the bridge; he runs and teleports in midair, but it doesn't quite take him far enough. As he climbs up the slats, he tells Ririka to wait for him. At the Uzaki's minivan, Uzaki-sensei explains that he had to leave Ririka. Inchou-san sees flases of multicolored light in the sky and is positive that it's Tenyo-sama and the Oni fighting.

The fight has returned to the ground, Dewey's barely started, but Nurse Angel is getting worn out. Seiya shows up and holds Dewey back, teleports the both of them upside down in midair, and slams the taller Dewey into the ground. Seiya emerges from the dust (dust??) sure the fight's over. Dewey appears unharmed; Seiya can't believe he's still standing after that. Dewey charges and Nurse Angel blinds him with the red maple leaf. Nurse Angel does an Angel Aid Bomb Beam; Dewey breaks through the Episode End Gun!

Swirly hair...
Dewey prepares another charge when lightening strikes his handily raised weapon. Even after a hefty electrocution, he drags himself upright, declares a draw, and retreats.

Nurse Angel can't save the trunk of the Tree of Tenyo, but she can start a new sapling on the stump. As they wait to get across the ravine, Ririka asks Seiya if he believes in Tenyo. He answers,

"I believe in Nurse Angel."
