The Imperial Military and Academy seize governmental power.

Imperial Year 71 - The Shelcoof Incedent
The gigantic Ancient Age ship "Shelcoof" appears, ravages Meccania and the Empire, and flees to the borderlands.
The legendary "Dragon" is first sighted.

Imperial Year 89 - The Activation of the "Tower"
Two Dragons appear in response to the "Tower" activation experiments.
Under attack by the Dragons, the Imperial Capitol is engulfed in flames.

Imperial Year 91
Imperial Army reoganization, the commencement of reconstruction of the capitol, and the increase of tax burdens cause frequent peasant riots, which are supressed by force.

Imperial Year 119 - The Azel Incedent
Examiner Craymen steals "Azel" from an excavation site and raises a rebellion. The capitol is leveled by a disturbance in an underground ruin. 
Ruins continent-wide cease to function, and the age of the "Great Collapse", warping climate and topography, spans decades thereafter.

Imperial Year 142
The Imperial Academy, having gained the strength of the southern peoples, reestablishes the Empire. They re-form the Imperial Army and impose order upon the chaotic continent. Reconstruction of the capitol begins on the foundation of a vast underground ruin.

Imperial Year 156  - Orta's Awakening
The Engineered Unit is formed, and cleanup of Anti-Empire influences begins in ernest.
The "Subhuman" that produced the engineered weapons flees the capitol.

And... "Orta" awakens.

Imperial Year 71 - The Shelcoof Incedent
Lundi, a quiet boy living in a borderland village.
He named a wing-bearing mutant offspring of a coolia "Lagi" and raised it.
However, one day, an Ancient Age "ship" that appeared in the sky razes his village.
The boy, having lost everything, chases in the "ship's" wake, together with Lagi.
